Competitive Study: Monitoring Patterns of Biomarkers

The principle of monitoring specific patterns of unspecific metabolites is demonstrated using the data of a competative study. Thereby, a new drug A is profiled versus a drug B established on the market. Both drugs are administered in comparable doses in terms of pharmacologic effects (two dose groups per compound and one control group) and toxic side effects are monitored.
